Casio Protrek Digital Solar Mens Black Triple Sensor Ver. 3 Watch PRG-270-1A
Latest in the Protrek series.
The PRG-270 is, against all odds, very light. It has a large set of features, but only weighs 67g, thanks to Casio’s new technology, which can fit in sensors that are up to 95% smaller than any of its previous versions or models. So it is a watch that won’t weigh your wrist down.
One of these features is the Tough Solar panels. Designed to be practically invisible, these small panels at the front of the watch can start charging your battery with even the smallest sliver of light. With Tough Solar, it’s theoretically possible to just use the one battery through the whole lifetime of this watch.
Sometimes people don’t go outside too much, or they forget to charge up their watch. Usually, they’d get a nasty surprise when they turn on the watch only to realize nothing is working. On the Protrek however, there is a low battery indicator, making sure that you know just how far along the watch is, and when you need to charge it.
With a digital compass, as well as a thermometer and altimeter, this is a hiker’s and camper’s dream, and even if it gets too cold, the watch is resistant to -12oc!
